Welcome to the first post of this forum which is where members can introduce themselves. This is where we can talk about what music means to us and how iTunes is used.
Since as the creator of the site, it's Administrator, and first forum member I get to go first.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s and love the music of that era most. My favourite genre is New Wave and Post-Punk as that music felt so fresh and different with the visual and musical cyber aesthetics.
I created Yertunes because I love using iTunes and have a music collection of 60,000 songs that range across dozens of genres and eras. I like having control over what I listen to and have created elaborate playlists that has become a kind of virtual playground. I intend to share more details about these playlists in other forum posts.
Music is my passive passion. I don't play music at all but did when I was a teenager and had dreams of being in a band. I enjoy listening to music as it has evolved in popular culture and seeing the different ways artists communicate. I most admire those artists that can combine the profound with the playful and are always evolving in their styles.
